ice nine

ice nine

running through our veins
from out of their purple mouths
and dusky and dusty tongues
the ripe ashes come

spilling onto the floor a dry paint
an ageless stain
crystals will revoke our battery
redefine a fibrous humanity

oozing, bleeding gums
rusty, tingling tongues
frozen shards of evergreen
blown words to smithereens

a chemical aware
of all the pain it rears
the fouls winds that bear
a wretched filthy endless stare

a "c" in french

The House of Bedlam (a C in French)

The wind is blowing the sand across the floor.
A darkness gathers though it does not fall
And the whiteness grows less vivid on the wall.

Here being visible is being white,
being solid is an extremist exercise...
That was different, something else, a longer line

All pleasures and all pains, remembering
We all will love again

She dreams of Coffee and oranges in a sunny isle
She hears, upon that water without sound,
A voice that cries, "The tomb is empty in Palestine”

This is the soldier home from the war.
These are the years and the walls and the door
that shut on a boy that pats the floor

All pleasures and all pains, remembering
We all will love again

In Mexico the dead man lay
The jukebox went on playing
among the fog-soaked weeds and butter-and-eggs.

And in the brothels of Marrakesh
the little pockmarked prostitutes
balanced their tea-trays on their heads

All pleasures and all pains, remembering
We all will love again

This is the house of Bedlam.
This is the man that lies in the house of Bedlam.
This is the time of the tragic man that lies in the house of Bedlam.

city of david (demo 4)

C-Am-G-F
if i could live my life again
i'd sail upon a silver wind
i'd live it all again  in the city of david

C-Am-G-F
if i could live another day
i'd sail away on silver waves
i'd spend it on the hills in the city of david

G-Am-F
we've got tonight to claim tomorrow
i will beg and steal and borrow
upon a sea of endless sorrow

Em-F
where there's a will there's a way
resurrect a fireworks display
i would die and go to ground
G
on that holiday

if you say it is

tim and krissy campy introduction!

every damn visitor is on my catapult
"a fool is a fool" she said, "it's all right"
in a clear mausoleum
under fire
under cover
i can sleep it off
sweep it off
i live a dream

anything is beautiful if you say it is

shaking down a weak file
weak man
weak child
you can leave the crying and the tears
to the land
Johannesburg also known as Jozi, Jo'burg, eGoli or Joeys, is the largest city in South Africa, by population
Kraków also Cracow, or Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River (Polish: Wisła)
crack it up
crack down
teachers with a belly full of red currant rate say

anything is beautiful if you say it is

harry solo!

these people take the back way
betting on the nose
talking bout a jackknife
eyes seen a ghost
they may have all sweet honey five coats
let them drink coffee
bitter tea
cocoa

mother mary

and we struggle through the day
morning sun
the moon's bright rays
feel the presence of the gloom
a career sickened eye
a cheap perfume

i can barely cry
i can barely breath
i can barely sigh
i can barely see

truth is scattered on the floor
so many lives
so many wars
battles won and battles lost
fall to your knees
strangle the host

i can barely cry
i can barely breath
i can barely sigh
i can barely see

will it matter if we turn around right here
or move forward into the storm?
will mother mary keep us warm?
will it matter if we turn around right here
or move forward into the storm?
will mother mary keep us warm?

i can barely cry
i can barely breath
i can barely sigh
i can barely see

water tower #9

water tower # 9

i was black and i was white
i heard someone was up for fighting
she would sigh and it would sting
and she was goddam everything

well that was 30 years ago
and all the world was jersey shoreline

hotter days and hotter nights
a six pack and some mad dog wine

was all we had and all we knew
and heaven raged above below

all the world was in her eyes
and all the songs were harmonized

and i would live and die
for water tower number nine

she was such and honest gal
and i wasn't one to kiss and tell
then it was just a lonely dream
spinning in my bed again

a day or two my head would clear
my eyes would open my hands would heal
i'd dial her number, say here name
the answer always seemed the same

that's all i ever want to know
the father son and holy ghost

i'm waiting for the reckoning
the great reward is beckoning

the partisan who will not wait
the holy men that can't relate

the drums are pounding out the drill
the smoke is rising in the hills

we see it with our second sight
it's playing on the news all night

the pauper to the president
sent from hell or heaven sent?
we are frayed and we are torn
we depart and we are born

rhymes with anonymous

now she's beginning
right where she started
a book end of betters
a better apartment

now she can marry
a clean operator
a man who will carry
her up elevators

and boy she's a thriller
she'll light you on fire
the hands of a killer
the eyes of a pirate

down in the city
a figure, she's skating
outside the kitchen,
the window, she's waiting

she's in love
with peter this one
and tommy that one

peace and love
imagine this
imagine that

she thinks she's all that!
big boots and plastic bags
maintain their price tags
and whatever rhymes with anonymous

she thinks she's all that!
big hats and plastic bags
she's got five matching bags for
whatever goes with the holidays

==============================================
xtra!

i had the forgiveness
picked clean from my pocket
like nobodies business
a picture of a locket

she bet's she's all in
notify her next of kin
we were brave and we were young
so what rhymes with anonymous?

just a dream
just a door
a rocking chair
a rocking horse

they breathe the air is free
blue skies electricity
outlive the US dream
godamn serenity

they breathe the free air
cool digs on four square
remember you were there
right in the heart of it?
right in the heart of it?

whatever goes with a heart attack
